Spent a bit @MITF 2012

Assalamualaikum wbt... :)

This is my first IT Fair visit in 2012 at Mid Valley Exhibition Center. I did not buy many things. Enough with these two things.hehe. I have bought the 2.0 USB Port(4) and one 4GB thumbdrive Kingston @RM15.90.

Mine looks exactly like this. =)

This is the USB port that I've said earlier.
Alhamdulillah, because all the ports function well. =)

So English!

Some of the wrongly-used English in the world. (taken from the Internet)

For more information on funny English, please visit this website :

English is Cuh-Ray-Zee!

Assalamualaikum wbt =)

This entry is specially dedicated to the all English teachers, either you are the experienced one or the teacher-to-be.

I think this poem is quite right and those small kids with understand English in this way (please read the poem later).

So, how you are going to teach your students?
Be smart. =)
English Is Cuh-Ray-Zee

English is the most widely spoken language in the history of the planet.
One out of every seven human beings can speak or read it.
Half the world's books, 3/4 of the international mail are in English.
It has the largest vocabulary, perhaps two million words,
And a noble body of literature. But face it:
English is cuh-ray-zee!

Just a few examples: There's no egg in eggplant, no pine or apple in pineapple.
Quicksand works slowly; boxing rings are square.
A writer writes, but do fingers fing?
Hammers don't ham, grocers don't groce. Haberdashers don't haberdash.
English is cuh-ray-zee!

If the plural of tooth is teeth, shouldn't the plural of booth be beeth?
It's one goose, two geese. Why not one moose, two meese?
If it's one index, two indices; why not one Kleenex, two Kleenices?
English is cuh-ray-zee!

You can comb through the annals of history, but not just one annal.
You can make amends, but not just one amend.
If you have a bunch of odds and ends and get rid of all but one, is it an odd or an end?
If the teacher taught, why isn't it true that a preacher praught?
If you wrote a letter, did you also bote your tongue?
And if a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?
English is cuh-ray-zee!

Why is it that night falls but never breaks and day breaks but never falls?
In what other language do people drive on the parkway and park on the driveway?
Ship by truck but send cargo by ship? Recite at a play but play at a recital?
Have noses that run and feet that smell?
English is cuh-ray-zee!

How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same
When a wise man and a wise guy are very different?
To overlook something and to oversee something are very different,
But quite a lot and quite a few are the same.
How can the weather be hot as hell one day and cold as hell the next?
English is cuh-ray-zeee!

You have to marvel at the lunacy of a language in which your house can burn down
While it is burning up. You fill out a form by filling it in.
In which your alarm clock goes off by going on.
If pro is the opposite of con, what is the opposite of progress?

Well, English was invented by people, not computers
And reflects the creativity of the human race.

So that's why when the stars are out, they're visible,

But when the lights are out, they're invisible.
When I wind up my watch I start it, but when I wind up this rap,
I end it. English is cuh-ray-zee!

Our Company, Our Responsible!

Assalamualaikum wbt =)

What brings me here? What makes me to talk about my memories when I was at National Service in Rompin, Pahang. Well, I think my camp was the only one in Rompin area. However, it was closed after several months of my leaving. The real reason, I don't know. Anyway, I just appreciate what I have done there. Even though I did not complete my three months survival at Summerset Resort National Service, Rompin, Pahang, somehow I just love to be there. It is natural to get new friends which we like and which one we don't like. Lumrah kehidupan lah katakan :)

By the way, I remember about this when Dr. Lawrence (one of my Education Department's lecturer) talked about his experiences in the secondary school. At that moment, we were discussing about Positive Teacher-Student Relationship in the Classroom and it just happened that he wanted to share his experiences too!

Talking about responsible, how to relate it with my memories during my two months of National Service? Our company is our responsible. There is not much meaning of having team if we are not being responsible to each other. Normally, each company will be having a created flag with our own logo and motto. I like my company's design very much. The 'artist' of the flag was Fadhli ** if I'm not mistaken. He drew quite well. If the artist was me, I'm sure that the flag will become a disaster! and for sure, not one is willing to hold and carry the flag around.hahaha

Our guys in the company. Take a look at the flag. Isn't it is nice?hehe
I just remember that the written APLHA shouldn't be there. So, our marks has been deducted a litle bit.
Anyway, we still won the competition ;p

During our NS, the leader of the company needed to hold the flag each time we were having assembly. We did assemble 3-4 times per day including night's roll-call. If the leader missed to take the flag down to our dorm and no one from that company helped to take the flag, so it will be seized by our trainers. Then, the whole company, for instance my company is Alpha, will be punished. Since our company was the first who left the flag at the field, so we were punished to carry out an engagement ceremony. We had to prepare all the things including 'barangan hantaran' like what Malays used to do. We also selected two friends who will be the bride-to-be and the groom-to-be. haha. Well, it was totally funny! haha.. However, the punishment did not end with our company. Two weeks later, another company, Bravo also left their flag at the field. They had to prepare a wedding ceremony. This one was much more funny and it looked like a real one! haha..

Company Bravo

After those incidents, we became more careful. Each of us kept reminding each other. We did not want to be punished anymore. It was totally embarrassing! *tutup muka* We became more responsible towards each other. That is why the today's title is "Our Company, Our Responsible" =)

Please, I have to breathe properly.

Assalamualaikum wbt :)

Today's entry might be a short one. I am having difficulty in breathing now. I have googled some websites about this problem and it seems that I am not the only one who suffers this difficulty. There are many other people who put on their comments about this. What I have found out (based on people's ideas):

1) Cut put dairy (milk, butter, etc)
**Right now, I'm consuming milk. Should I stop for a while? Well, actually consuming milk is not my favourite but I am trying to inculcate that habit in myself. I wanna be healthier.

2) Cut out bread.
** I have not taking bread yet this two weeks.

3) Drink 100% carrot juice.
**I am in hostel now. What should I do? Buying carrot juice from the cafe is not worth, I think because they only use a very small amount of carrot. But yet the price is WOW!

4) Sniff honey.
** I admit this. Honey is the best medicine in the world. Al-Quran says that :)

5) Avoid mold.
** Well my hostel now is facing some problems regarding molds. It appears everywhere. It is our toilets, ceilings and even on the walls right beside my bed. This might be one of the causes why I am facing breathing difficulties.

Hmm, now I'm trying to do what best for myself.. :)

Goodbye Jan, Welcome Feb ;)

Assalamualaikum.

Since this will be my first post in February, I love to say, ''Goodbye,January. Hope to see you soon on 2013. By  the way, welcome the warm month, February, which has the least numbers of the days."

What is so great about this year February? Well, for Malaysians who live or study in Kuala Lumpur Federation, they will be surely get a chance for public holiday in KL. It is because of the 'born-day' of Kuala Lumpur Federation. Well, HOLIDAY! We all love holidays, right? I, too, love holiday. Even though I might not be doing something meaningful on that particular day, clearly said as assignment, I will still love it. It just happens that going to the class and getting a pail of tutorial work, I'm totally worn out.

I'm sick of this.

Can I just stay at home and do whatever I like?  Lazy people always talk about this. ^_~
